Tift County Emergency Operations (EO) has two major roles:
- E911 services
- Emergency Management Agency (EMA)
The primary mission of Tift County E911 is to lessen the time required for persons within Tift County to request and receive emergency aid and to provide the most efficient and effective delivery of Public Safety services to save lives, protect property, and quickly apprehend criminals, while at all times, being cautious for the safety of our responding units.
Tift County EMA's mission is to provide a comprehensive and aggressive all-hazards approach to mitigation, preparedness, response, recovery and special events. The purpose of our mission is to protect life and property and to prevent and/or reduce the negative impact of natural and man-made events in Tift County.
